Joined in the SAKK barbeque, way out in deep deep rural Tokyo (photos here).  Thanks to Yuji's superb coordination it was an amazing time.  It was a darn hot day though.

Joined the Six Apart Bicycle club in their inaugural Bike to Lunch (Tokyo version) event.  Fumiaki and Taiichi have posts from lunch.  The photos can be enjoyed in the Flickr Group for the club.

On the way back from lunch, we stopped by to represent!  Yes, that's a camera on his helmet but unfortunately Parliament was not in session.

I was trying to forget about the game, so I really didn't want to vox this. . .but since it happened and I can't avoid what already happened, I'll just write about everything except what happened.

Left the office around 1930 and walked to the "Donkey" in Roppongi with Garth.  Garth has some Illinois cowboy in him and he was dying to show me. . .and here it is.  The Rodeo Boy, now for ONLY 29.9k JPY (about 280 USD).  I'm seriously starting to consider getting one for the new SAKK office.

We then met up at Tatsuhiko's place to watch the game.  There was some genuine joy in the early going. . .I'll skip the rest, hopefully the pictures will fill in the gaps.

Japan will be back. . .and stronger.

Back in the SAKK offices today.  Nice to be back and as a greeting the Fumiaki-san the super engineering manager for MT squared off with the first new member of my team, the Mariners' Moose.  For some reason, the picture is not rotated like it was in Flickr. . .hmm rotation function anyone?
